 Built mself an arrow. Heated up some jam & used this as blood.
Forgot this was a basic challenge where I couldn't post process much & didn't take as much care as I should havve, thus the water droplets on the arrow & under the apple.

If someone pointed an arrow at me, I'd probably sweat too! I like the water droplets, I think they add some character and emotion! :)

Cool idea. Almost perfectly executed (water drops), and I think the main thing going for this (besides the awsome idea) is the composition.

Interesting idea. Tony Soprano would call this a Whacked Food. Good color and composition, but a little on the "ewww, yuck" side.

Very mixed feelings on this one. A very good image with great technique, great composition and great color but what a subject. It is like a deception, I reach for the apple and bang...wacko food. lol Bumping up to 6

At first I found the image stagnant but got excited when I noticed the water droplets on the apple and arrow. When I see more after taking a second look at a picture, I feel rewarded somehow. The white background makes the subject stand out but removes in my eye the artistry of color and motion that could have enhanced such a great story telling theme shot. Thanks a lot.

Uh apple with broken heart. I guess its not paint but some jam or juice...makes it even tasty :) strange. After all good lights and focus.

Ingenious. I think I would have like a dark background with some low lighting, but still enough to see the "blood."

I can't tell if your arrow is food as well. This is very well done, but the first thing I thought was it would have been even better if the arrow had been constructed of celery or something similar. Good job.
