Thank you ALL for your comments and warm words! I was so surprised this morning! And I got this news by telephone call! I rushed online and saw my first ribbon. Thanks again. I would like to answer to all comments regarding chicken footprints. If there would be chicken it would be normal and not wacky enough for me.

(I cant believe the lower scores)

Damn, Damn, Damn, I soooo want to give this a higher score, I LOVE the concept, but the prints are wrong, if they were chicken prints it would have gotten an 8 or 9 from me, as it is, 6, sorry!

I think this is such an adorable shot and such a fun idea! I think there needs to be more contrast between the egg and the background, though. At any rate, I like the photo!

hehe - very cute and a great take on the challenge. With all that white - your exposure is truly superb.

Excellent composition, wacky idea, I can see good effort in creating this picture. I would have liked to see "little/bigfoot" or should I say "sasquashitito". Not enough background contrast for me. I found the pixel quality poor. Thanks for sharing.

If it had been chick feet instead of people feet this would have met the challenge better, as it is I still think its very humorous.

Interesting idea! The egg blends into the backgound too much for me... I would love to see it stand out a little more.

10/02/2004 07:41:42 PM
! Absolutely brilliant.. My ony negative would be that the foot prints are not quite evenly spaced, but your breakfast may have been skipping, not running. :-) Great shot.. 9

Thats not food which runs away :). Good lights on white...

10/02/2004 01:18:32 AM
Very creative. I think it would have been better to have "chick" footprints rather than little human shaped feet, but I like the way you have them fading out. You handled the high key lighting extremely well too.

Shouldn't it be like, chicken feet and not human feet, unless you're a cannibal. Anyway, this is really nice, and I'll overlook that fact you wanted to eat a human fetus of some sort. :) 9.

Interesting you chose to make little human feet running away from the egg. Funny idea. You did an excellent idea of photographing it as well. Not easy to get the whites to work so well without either turning into gray or getting overblown. Excellent.
