Beautiful fireworks. I'd tighten the the crop so that the burst fill the frame completely. It would do two things: one, eliminate all the dead space that really does nothing for the photo and two, make the short crop on the top seem more appropriate.

The picture and title don't seem to agree. My first thought was that this was taken during a fight -- the raised fist seems angry, and the other two look like they might be arguing. I'm sure they were shouting and fist pumping in celebration, but it isn't communicated well. I probably would have chose a different title for the image, or a different image for the title.

But more specific to the image, the shadow on one of the subject's face is distracting. Nice color, sharpness, and use of DOF.

Nice image. I like the perspective, composition and square crop a lot. I'd like to see the original too. Hot air balloon have such beautiful color, it doesn't seem quite the same in B&W. Still, for the purposes of this challenge, I think this one was well done. :)

That leaf is perfect! Really beautiful!

A nice photo, however it has not been improved at all by the desaturation imo. The background probably wasn't too different in the original than it is here. If this leaf was resting among a bunch of other leaves, hightlighting it would make it stand out from a crowd.
