Fire Powerby spydrComment: Match pistol. I used to shoot rifles competitively. I was exepecting to see a ton of firearms in this challenge, but not so many. I guess there is some courage in putting up a possibly controversial subject. The only technical comment is that I'd like to see a softer, more even shadow: it draws attention away from the subject. The crop is a little tight too. |

Big wheel spinning by jab119Comment: Very nice! I'm an aficianado of time-lapse shots of carnivals (small group, eh?) and you've really caught the motion nicely. Did you use a tripod? Nitpicking, but it seems like some things are nicely sharp (the checkered canopy) but other things aren't so sharp (the mini-indy sign). Perhaps different USM settings would yield more uniform sharpness? |

Point of viewby ivashComment: Interesting take on what I thought would be a very common subject (but hasn't been over-done). I like the very graphic almost abstract quality. |

Open Upby ddmckinney1954Comment: LOL -- good interpretation of the challenge. I might suggest that moving the subject off-center might be a touch more interesting. Technically nice -- well lit, sharp, pleasing DOF. |

Heavy Metalby HRoxasComment: Extremely nice tones! Very sharp, and the desaturated sepia tone works very well. |

Driving Pleasureby eostylesComment: wow -- I can't understand why anyone would challenge this photo... Technically nice shot, and I think the border actually contributes, which is unusual for me. |

Hot Wheelby gwsallenComment: So close! The bright flash-highlights and shadows on the background are big minuses for me. Fabulous idea tho. Perhaps some light from behind would help illuminate the smoke, which would allow less flash, so you could use a diffuser. |

4WD monsterby cq107Comment: the blown-out reflections detract from an otherwise sharp image. Shiny stuff is hard to capture without highlight problems. |
