What a great picture of the destructive effects of weather in the Northwest. Nice composition. Focus on the boat could be a little sharper (USM?) A bit more contrast might make the boat pop from the background a bit more. Still a nice effort. - 8

I like this for a lot of reasons that are just on the tip of my tongue. Maybe it's the mystery. Maybe it's not quite knowing what it is. Rust is subtle, almost more implied than explicit. I like that. Very well done. - 9

Simply a beautiful picture. the abstract/macro appeals to me. Focus is incredible. Colors and contrast really make it pop. Good candidate for best of show. - 10

I like this a great deal. In spite of a few flaws it may well be best of show. The sloping horizon bothers me a bit but it seems to work with the rest of the composition. Love the colors and levels. Misty sky with a hint of sun about to emerge adds drama. Good luck. - 10
