Photos of children are hard to score, the photo mean much to the person who took it but to others it may look like just another photo of a kid.

The focus seems to have been missed just a bit, it looks like the sharpest focus is on the sleeve and not her eyes. In general you always want to try and focus on the eyes, in this case they are the most important part and the photo suffers because they are not in focus.

I think this is also a case where children we know seem much more interesting to us then to others.

This seems like a typical snap shot during a outing. Nothing wrong with it as a photo but it doesn̢۪t have anything in it to make it stand out.

The effect of this photo seems over the top to me. The colors are so saturated that it diminishes the dramatic effect the photo could have had.

For some reason this photo has a very artificial look to it, at least to me, almost like she was a doll. I am not sure if this is from the lighting or post processing but I find it oddly disturbing.

This is the kind of photo that can mean a lot to the person who took it but not so much to others. It is not a bad photo of a cat but not a great photo either. To my tastes the focus seems a bit soft.
