I agree completely. It goes from amazing to a sort of over saturated water color painting where color has no purpose.

But it's still a great picture, I just was shocked that this person described my feelings so perfectly.

Awesome sky. I do feel that the lightening of the grass is a bit overdone. May I suggest either toning down the brightness for the grass or reducing yellow content and bumping slightly up the green?

Crazy colors. Seems a bit overprocessed, but given the subject I like it. It almost seems surreal.

i likely! great deep dof, which i feel is super necessary for landscape shots! Dunno if you used ps or not (ooks rather natural) but I love it. Good stuff & good luck! 10

Whoa. Neat use of saturation. I really like the surreal feel of it. Great job!

what an interesting image. although, i'd have to say it really could use a subject. the way you have processed this, that open area is just begging for there to be something or somebody in it. i hope this does well for you, and that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of this huge challenge! good luck!

Hmmm. This seems like it needs more of a subject. My eyes are drawn to nowhere in particular. It's also a bit overprocessed, it seems. I like the idea though.

This comes across as a little overdone and more like digital art. I really like the simplicity of the image and the cloud formations tell a wild story. Curious to see the original and how dynamic that sky was.

Very nice... is that a gradient?

Sorry but for my personal taste only this doesn´t do anything for me as it looks too fake after all the dodging and burning. I can´t put my finger on it but what I am trying to say is that it looks too surreal.

Well this one certainly drew my attention. Very colourful and vivid image.

On the otherhand... What was just an ordinary landscape photo has been transformed into this by probably relying heavily on Photoshop. This picture is a bit too much processed for my taste. I think that the only time one would see such a vision would be in a nuclear war.

I will love this picture more if there are some people or animal here.

Nice but...it looks a bit artificial.

The effect of this photo seems over the top to me. The colors are so saturated that it diminishes the dramatic effect the photo could have had.

The colors don't look real, too exaggerated..... too much PS perhaps?

Nice photo, but alas ruined when you let Liberace loose on your computer. Sorry, I just think the lurid colours are too much. 4.

I suspect others may come down on this for the technicolor processing, but I like it a lot. Freaking bizarre, makes me thing mystery & magic.

I'm not completely convinced you haven't gone too far with the processing here, but you certainly have a bit of skill with the old photoshop. That is a terrific sky, and the perfectly manicured lawn offsets it nicely.
