.... fire in the skyby finnurComment: I think the moon is a little blured and thought the sun was the fire in the sky? I do like the composition of the picture though, gives a good feeling of space. As for fire? not sure it meets the challenge. |

Petal Flamesby goinskiingComment: Not the first time I've said this, a great picture but imho does not fit the true remit of the challenge. |

Fire Red Berriesby dgcollinsComment: Well composed picture and the berries are named 'fire' but I really don't think it meets the challenge (maybe I'm to litteral in my thinking) |

Gotta light? by kiwinessComment: My personal thought is a ribbon is on its way!
Talk about cliches, but this is probably the best match shot I have seen. Focus is spot on and the straight lines of the smoke turn what might have been a good shot into a winner, the title also leads me to think of the 'other' person (so simple but yet conveys so much)
Trying to find a negative I'd say the match may be a little overexposed |

The Gatheringby jmsetzlerComment: Ok, I'm a sucker for this kind of shot, its going in my favourites but I just don't see the fire element. |

Playing with Fireby mrblobbyComment: Love it!
I see you needed validation (after I voted) can't wait to see how you did this. If I put my 'picky' head on the button on the cuff is a little distracting |

.. match meby Ecce_SignumComment: Thanks for all your comments, I guess 4.2 is a decent starting point. If I get time I may retake the picture using your suggestions (focus is a pretty basic one lol). Looking forward to your comments in the fire challenge. |

Velvet Tideby ccraftComment: If the brown stone wasn't there I'd like this picture, I'm glad it is as it really adds to the scene, lovely shot. Not exactly a technical comment but this picture sends my mind driffting, rather than see the textures I can feel them. |

Sharkby timj351Comment: I like this shot Tim, a majestic preditor and the crop on his fin seems to add to the effect, how big is he? I guess the pic was taken at an aquarium but have you psd the background? |
