Sheby librodoComment: This is absolutely beautiful - not just because the subject is lovely, but because the colours, sharpness, composition, etc. is all exactly what it needs to be to make this a stunning photograph. I love the slight feel of undersaturation, with the little bits of pink accenting here and there. This is just marvelous - 10. |

Prideby ergoComment: Mmm.. beautiful indeed. Usually shadows bother me, but in this case I like them - they add some nice drama to the simple background. Lighting is great - again, I like the shadows and highlights. Expression is fantastic, pose is perfect, and the composition is very effective - 10! |

Sandy Appleby MontereykiddoComment: I'm amazed that this didn't do better - it's overall very appealing with the neutral sand colour and the vivid red of the apple; the only thing I would like to see is a slightly tighter crop on the right side and bottom to make the apple more centred in the bottom righthand corner, and to give it a little more negative space to the left. This has an almost abstract feel to it; it would look lovely with a thick black mat/frame. Nice job! |

Water Enhanced by spydrComment: Wow, this one really screams summertime to me. Maybe it's just because it's so hot, and that looks so cool and refreshing! Excellent capture - the crisp detail and vivid colours really give this appeal. |

They're Hereby L1Comment: Wow... I love this shot! But you're right, it's probably too weird for most DPCers :( |

Treeby ColeyComment: I would love to see a bit more drama in the colour/tones of this, or (alternatively) a black and white conversion - sharpness is great, and it meets the challenge on both levels well. Good job. |

Forgottenby BeingCleverComment: Wow.. this reminds me of a photo I took awhile back! This one's way better, though - awesome tones, I like the desaturated feel, and the sharpness is fantastic. I see a bit of grain, which I also really like for this shot. Composition works for me, and it meets the challenge well - nice work! |

OldSanJuan1.jpgby shocknurse1Comment: Lovely colours and textures. There are some great rich, deep tones here, and everything seems to be in perfect focus. The composition is interesting, and it works well; I would prefer if the tower were just a tad more properly centered, but that's just a bit of pickiness on my part. Nice work! |
