I know, you think it's off topic, overexposed, and you hate selective desaturation. What can I say? I've had a few good scores in a row, and now I need a bottom scorer to remind me that my 6.0+ photos are just bits of luck. :)

I really like this photo with the selective desaturation. I'm not sure why, because I'm usually not a fan of the stuff - but I like it for this. I wanted to do something that didn't involve windows/doors/etc. of buildings and like structures, so I chose the beautiful calla lilies that are growing near the pond for my subjects. Title is due to the fact that the angle gives the flower a heart shape.

And I didn't crop it close - it's uncropped. This is how I wanted it framed.

this is as unique as it gets.. You are going to motivate me to shoot my first floral. I love your dark theme with florals..and water addition is common in your work..also a favorite of mine. This flower does not grow in NY ! very nice.

Dynamic shot with great light, tone and detail. The selective colour is also strong. Perhaps cropped a little too loose top and right.

Don't know if the selective color works for this shot. It is looking more like a phallus symbol than a plant.
