What energy! The motion blur works so well to convey the moment! Like the way the highlights on her leg blend with the wet pavement and yet detail is there in the rest of the image. It took me awhile to understand your title as the shadow of the stalker doesn't jump out at first--so nice when I finally "get it".

Inviting! I love the near-abstraction of your image! The sharpening on the water makes it seem as if it's still in motion--the beach allows the eye to rest for a moment, though before it's pulled back in. A very nice best-of-year indeed!

Cleverly focused! The mood is there in this well thought out photo. The right side drags me away a little, perhaps a slightly closer crop would pull me back in. Hard to find fault with anything else (but I'm sure someone will).
