Ah i was looking for a guy standing by one of those columns, and in focus in the glasses, but couldn't find him... Or something. You gotta let us know what is being contemplated, or who is contemplating, or something....

If this was just a hair less centered I think it would improve it greatly. I really like the subject and the setting, as well as what we're seeing in the glass. Bumping up one.

what an interesting image. i really hope this isn't getting overlooked in this colossal challenge, and that it is getting the attention it deserves. this is definitely not the type of image that can be appreciated in a 2-second glance. thanks for sharing. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come.

Does all that negative space contribute or distract from the mood? Perhaps if you crop closer to the hands and glasses and then the glasses actually see MORE of the scene than the viewer the message changes to something about looking/ comtemplating the world - I also like the wedding ring which might stand out more with a tighter crop. Colors and shapes are wonderful! 8

Interesting how the view through the glasses is in focus... I'll have to try that some time. Good luck in the challenge!

I like how the glasses put in focus what the camera puts out of focus. A little crop of the right part would improve in my opinion.

Good use of shallow dof. I like how the image works in the glasses. Nice job.

Interesting composition

Cleverly focused! The mood is there in this well thought out photo. The right side drags me away a little, perhaps a slightly closer crop would pull me back in. Hard to find fault with anything else (but I'm sure someone will).

Very nice idea - I would have cropped the wall out on the right, to put the spectacles even more off centre and remove the distraction of the dark stripe - but well caught.

Nice composition, I like that the image in the glasses is sharper than the background it reflects.
