This was flat out one of my favorite pictures this year, I love the simple composition and the exquis...the darned spiffy lighting. :) I've been trying to replicate this shot for months with no luck. You've really inspired me.

I can't find any words except Splendid! That is the most inventive and beautiful photograph that I've spotted this year. The stark colours, the perfect contrast... everything. Nice.

I like it how the lighter background (red was a good choice) at the bottom is in balance with the bright berries on the branch itself.

So suprised to see this one! I see it every morning at work since you posted it in the forums for comment--hope you don't mind that I took the liberty of making it my desktop image. I saved it for inspiration--I hope to be able to "paint with light' and achieve the form and mood you have here. So painterly. Good luck in the challenge!
