Close...it's a 71 Lemans...The GTO didn't have the chrome bumper...it was the same color as the body.

*** Greetings from the Critique Club ***

Very original idea. When I look at this photo, I see just some light things that are colorful...that's great, if that is what you want to show to the viewer. I think that an idea like this one could have been taken much further...possibly by including less subjects. Clearly you wanted a shot of these toys with a black background...so you picked up your camera and took some shots. Maybe we tried a few different angles, moved our light around a little bit, and this one was the best when flipping through the thumbnails.

I think that in order for this photo to be taken to the next level, you'd have to spend a good bit of time thinking about composition. Really think it through. Where do you want your viewer's eye to start, where should the focal point be? Think along the lines of the rule of thirds. Draw the viewer's eye into the scene, and give it something (at a convenient location in the image) to rest on. And always allow a bit of movement -- maybe a couple more string things placed a bit in the background completely out of the focal plane just adding a little bit...or think one single string...

Either way, like I said, very original idea...the idea was great, but the execution and the composition could have brought this good photo up to the next level. Keep shooting.
