The little dab of lens flare is unfortunate. My eye was drawn to it immediately because I use a flare-prone 28mm lens pretty-much all the time, so flare often sneaks up on me, too. The road being topped-off with a litter bin doesn't help the elegance of the shot. However, I do like the scene overall, and the light levels have created a real mood for me to enjoy.

Beautifully lit. I love it. Or do I love the subject? Either way, you should go to prison for not inviting us to tidy-up your studio afterwards.

I don't often bother looking closely at city shots. The thumbnail is usually quite sufficient. But this really drew me for a closer look. I don't like the person just entering the frame, or the blurriness of one of the vehicles in particular. I do like the inclusion of light-coloured vehicles which brighten the overall cosy darkness of the scene.

What could have been a fairly dull shot has been transformed by your use of that powerful shade of blue. Your use of a small amount of shadow adds just enough dimension, but keeps the image bright and "clean". Fab!

Reminds me very much of a video still. What an excellent and scary submission! Even the dab of compression simply adds to its quality as a spooky video capture. The girl's expression is menacingly unconcerned.

Excellent choice of background. What could have been a confusing all-in-view line of pearls have been distinctly separated by smart use of aperture. Even the twinkly colours all round the metalwork are very pleasing, complementary and not distracting.

An absolutely beautiful choice of location for a flowing water shot. I think this exposure is spot-on - a longer exposure would have robbed us of that dynamic gushing of the water. A very minor negative - I find the thick, dark border unpleasant - enclosing and claustrophobic. But the photo is excellent.

This is very nicely cropped. And the lack of colour really enhances the engineering aspects of the engine.
