Concentrationby scribeComment: Nice candid shot with lovely natural lighting which shows off the models blue eyes and facial bone structure to perfection.
Definite Scandinavian/German/Icelandic feel to this.
Slight halo at the top of the head..presumably you have darkened the background ? Doesn`t take away from this excellent image though.
Good work |

Veroniqueby sahkoComment: Don`t know if it is the title or the overall feel of the image but it has a very French influence to it.
I really like the sombre tones..they give the image bite.
Nice work |

New Hubba bubba girlby ConcreteDonkeyComment: I think this would probably have finished highly in the partial desat challenge..would certainly have got a 10 from me.
Great expression and very good use of the technique. |

Flightby Dim7Comment: Beautifully captured shot..I am very envious, as I have been trying to get close enough to a heron to get something like this..but so far I`ve been unsuccessful.
Well done. |

Skateboarderby maelmsComment: A nice "culture" study which really suits the b/w format.
If the guy at the skateboarders right knee was out of shot it would have helped to define the action even better as his leg seems to blend with the dark shirt.
Great action though and the lighting is first class..well done |

Tornado Skyby duncesComment: Superbly impressive cloud structure..reminds me of something you would expect to see in the "Biblical epic" films. All that`s missing is Charlton Heston dividing the waters of the Red Sea.
Perhaps a horizon line with a lone tree would increase the impact even more (if that`s possible).
Great capture. |
