Caught in the Actby saiphfireComment: Really funny, creative concept, and fine capture of the dog's expression! Recomposing could take this image from good to great, i.e., eliminate all the elements that don't contribute to the story (the box on the floor, the wall hanging, light fixture, doorway), and make the Steak box more prominent in the frame so we can read it. A mixed result this time, but keep at it! |

holy in winterby antimethodComment: Creatively strong -- those tracks make all the difference. Fine composition. Great exposure and focus. Link to the bridge theme takes some staring to see and accept, but okay, I'm with you. Bumping to 8. |

A Bridge to Immortalityby sacredspiritComment: Creative concept, strong graphic image, well composed. For me, the black border distracts more than it enhances. Overall well done. |

Conjoinedby sherComment: Very creative choice of subject. Choice of B&W enhances the dark mood, as does the high contrast. Composition okay, but the headstone in the background distracts by its placement, tangential to the subject. ... shifting your view so that it is more to the right would improve this, I think. Good work. |

Grace in Steelby nsmithComment: Lovely colours and tones. I love the simplicity of your composition, although I might like the bridge to be a little higher in the frame. |

Chopsticks across ramen 01by DigichromeComment: Striking graphic. Original choice of subject. Nicely controlled tones through creative lighting. Beautifully balanced composition. A little oversharped, quite noticeable at the tips of the chopsticks, otherwise I can find no fault in this. I like it a lot. Good luck. |

At the Blue Lagoonby GautiComment: Nice tones and soft colour palette. Generally strong composition - I love how the bridge takes your eye into the frame - but the woman seems lost back there. I think bringing her closer to the foreground would separate her from the dark backround, add some weight where it is needed, and add interest. |
