Spring Greensby sbeaumontComment: Attractive pastoral scene, certainly meets the challenge. Nice lines and tones. I wish the lavendar extended across the entire foreground for better balance, but Mother Nature was quite cooperative for you regardless! I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot about the framing -- it does distract though. Good job. |

Green eyesby LevTComment: Tough exposure challenge ... her face is a little dark ... I can't actually tell that her eyes are green. Good DoF control and composition, and subject matter certainly meets the challenge! |

Old Beautyby MonaComment: Nice composition and setting. Colours and contrast seem muddier and duller than they should be though ... may be a workflow issue? |

True Innocenceby DeniseBernadetteComment: On my monitor, the deer has an unnatural purple cast, so rather than blendiing harmoniously with the earth tones of the background, it actually clashes. Colours seem oversaturated in general. |

And The Heavens Opened...by DamianComment: Nice use of colouring. On my monitor the left side of the tree almost gets lost in the burgundy cloud, which distracts. Good job. |

And She Loves ME!by toddheadComment: A pleasing portrait -- nice colours, spatial composition, and certainly a beautiful subject. Smile look just a tad forced though. Could benefit from stronger catchlights. Well done. |

Bodhisattva by labudsComment: How appropriate that, in your setup photo, I see your screen propped up by both, a nice thick physics textbook, and a nice thick book on Dali (at least I think that's what I see)! That's consistent with both sides of your brain needing to be engaged and in good working order in order to pull this one off. Well done. Message edited by author 2005-03-17 22:57:37. |
