I really like the photo, only It doesn't feel deserted to me. Maybe it's the other boats in the background, or maybe it's the fresh trail in the mud. That's only a nitpick about the title, though, and I rated this photo highly.

I see a *little* *creativity* here, but this photo comes up *short* *where it counts*. The *filesize* is *tiny*; about one tenth the allowed size for the site. The *compression* *artifacts* are distracting.

Quite pleasing to the eye, and a good use of B&W to emphasize both texture and structure.

I like the feeling this photo gives me, but I'm not sure I can articulate it. I'll try: This photo gives me the feeling of a cycle of people peacefully observing other people who are peacefully observing other people. The swan is watching me, I'm watching the girl, the girl is watching the other side of the water. It's all very interesting when it comes together for me.
