Grevy on a Sundayby PatellaComment: I was really hoping to see a zebra photo this challenge, but I never imagined it would be this good. I absolutely love the composition of this photo. |

Foliageby jmsetzlerComment: I'm guessing this one will win. I love the structures emphasized by the b&w, I love the lighting, and I love the crispness. I would really like to see it in color, but I'm guessing I like it better in b&w (which is really saying something, considering I don't generally like b&w at all). |

The one that got away...by albright1Comment: Interesting idea, and definitely an appropriate subject for a black and white photo. The flash casts some harsh shadows, unfortunately. Also, I think the composition could be improved the feeling of the dino escaping if you could have backed away a bit to add more negative space to the right side. |

Reflections on Brush Creekby AndyLeeG4Comment: Great work. This photo is so full of interesting structures that I'm glad there is no central focus. My eye doesn't rest on any one part of the photo, and in this case that's a good thing, because everything I look at is interesting. |

Life at the Beachby langdonComment: This photo has a lot going on. You captured three worlds in one, all three of which are most likely completely unaware of the others. I love the feeling of this photo. |

grid rockby lecookComment: Very good choice for B&W. You did a great job emphasizing the patterns in here. No complaints here. |

Granville at Nightby GtnjiggyComment: A nice range of tones is displayed here between the sky, the clouds, the buildings, and the lights. My only complaint is that perhaps leaving out the bottom segment below the buildings would have produced a more pleasing photograph. I'd be interested to hear why you decided to put that in the photo. |

Dear John. . .by blueeyedemoboyComment: If you wanted the main focus to be on the writing, John should have been wearing a light colored shirt. If you wanted the focus of the picture to be on John's excellent facial expression, I think the line "someone else." should have been moved downward so john's face is unobstructed. |
