blancEricby blancericComment: I don't know why, but I laughed out loud when this image loaded. it's just so... so..... incredulous and incredible. it borders on the absurd and makes lite of what is and what should be by denying an entire facet. you have proclaimed that you've reached the end. there is no more east. you can go back west where you came from, or you can go north/south, but you've literally reached the wall, the impasse, and everything is telling you you're done.
I love it. |

Neat by NeatComment: the glow really adds a level of warmth to this image, it takes it from being a snapshot at the pier and gives it the feeling of looking back at a memory you care about.
I can't think of any other words to describe the feeling this invokes in me. :)

MelonMusketeerby MelonMusketeerComment: Great capture; the dichotomy of the destructive bolt of lightning being inside the "safe and cuddly" rainbow works well and is something I don't recall ever seeing before! |

The Feather and The Eggby grahamgatorComment: i get that birds come from eggs so there is a correlation there, but the egg seems to be more the central subject than the feather, in a challenge about feathers. every time i look at this, my eye is drawn to the egg and the feather blends into the background too much.
while i can understand a "light and fluffy" feather entry being soft, it feels rather "out of focus" here given the theme.
**Edit**
After a full and complete pass of the full-size images, this is getting a bump in score. I still feel that my eye is drawn to the egg and that the feather is rather on the soft side for my personal preference, but it's still a better shot than many other entries in the challenge. |

insomniaby mariucaComment: love the IR image here; so many peacock feathers in this challenge, it's great to see it done differently! |

Chicken vs. Egg by ecmguyComment: Well, I think this answers the question of who came first. Dude doesn't look happy with the answer ;p |
