 S W Florida landscapes and skyscapes are my favorite subject. I also photograph birds and other local wildlife, but the landscapes get a lot more activity on my Fb page.
However, on DPC, they hardly even get a "Meh."
I was concerned about getting struck by lightning, since I was standing next to a wire fence under a power line when shooting for this one. Lightning set my employers yard about five miles away, on fire in this storm.
One of the local sayings is that if you don't like the weather here in S W Florida, just wait about 15 minutes and it will be different.
Shot with an 8mm Rokinon Fisheye lens.

Great capture; the dichotomy of the destructive bolt of lightning being inside the "safe and cuddly" rainbow works well and is something I don't recall ever seeing before!
