Lynne hit on what I think would be a popular sentiment. The relationship is made clear here without much unnecessary imagery/information. You did about average in this challenge, which I think actually says a lot in this case. While your concept and all is solid, there really isn't anything unusually moving or attractive in this picture. I think that this is the main reason it received this score. Judging by your portfolio, you already know what it takes to make a visually and technically strong image, so I won't get into it much here - I'm going out on a limb and taking a guess that, since this was more of a 'personal' type challenge, you took the personal approach and tried to show some true emotion/relationships with and person and pet that you know. Keep up the good work.

good idea - i would've perhaps liked the legs to have been in a full motion blur, since the more solid bottom positions and the slightly apparent top position just tend to point out that you stopped pedaling for a little while at the bottom (otherwise they wouldn't be this solidly rendered.. unless you used a flash, i suppose). anyway, good idea and good luck on your resolution!

very expressive style of image.. all the burning really helps bring out focus to the left. great choice of location, as well.

whatever they are, they sure don't look good for you! some sort of candy, i'm sure. anyway, i like your choice of colors.. all very vibrant and bright.. well balanced, not to the point that it looks unnatural.
