nicely attempted, did you try moving the brush tip closer to the right side of the image? I think it may be a stronger image, then. IMO the tip is too close to the center.

out of focus, good concept, but the image is out of focus and the composition could be improved. why is there empty space on the left and the candle is right up against the right side? Did you take different shots at different angles?

I would have liked to have seen both pages of the foreground book in focus. The books in the background could have been blurry. Compositionally, the title at the top of the page, it is distracting being cut off like that, try either not showing it, or including the whole title. When you adjust the top, leave the bottom of the image - it is cropped perfectly.

If this is basic editing, then wow, this is pretty cool. So many colours split into defined sections, how is it possible? Assuming this has been deemed qualified, then I will vote accordingly. The more I see the more there is to see. WOW.
