One Dark Night...Then A New Challengeby jbolingComment: This reminds me of the morning after Halloween in my neighborhood. The kids throw toilet paper on the trees, and spray shaving cream on doors along with eggs, etc. Obviously this isn't the case here though. Halloween is in October. Perhaps this was an act of disrespect towards an individual or familly since I see a house in the shadows of the trees. The night could have been a nightmare for someone and when the day broke they were relieved but challenged to clean it up. There seems to be a personal message here that is difficult for the casual observer to imagine...though I did give you my idea of what may have happened. Funny thing is usually my husband has to remind me NOT to read too much into things. In this case I must, or else I wouldn't really get it. You certainly captured the results of vandalism...the "NEW CHALLENGE" in your title? I'd say the challenge of cleaning up the mess. What I like best about this image is the trees... I love the greens of nature, and there is a nice variety of green here. In future pictures you may want to consider eliminating the distracting parts of the pictures...the parts that just don't add to it. Like the partial view of the car in the lower left...it's no BIG deal but it doesn't add anything to the photo. Hope my comments help. Grayce...aka...gracious |

Welcome to the tough wolrdby BaldurComment: Amazing isn't it? How could anything survive...yet it does and you captured it. Congratulations! I think the picture could benefit froma tighter crop...not too tight, since it's important to this concept to show the circumstances of it's growth. I'd be happy to discuss it more sometime... Still a nice shot. Grayce...gracious |

Tiny Toesby aguerraComment: The edges are showing up jagged on my monitor. Dunno if you're aware of it or not. Still a sweet, precious picture. |
