Sorry about yesterday's comment, it was a bad day and I took it out on alot of people. Let me start by saying this is one of the nicest sunset photos I've seen in a while. Good symetry dramatic sky and even more dramatic reflection. Excellent use of color in composition. All that aside it is still not a still life, sorry, it is a very nice picture that would do well in a lighting, shadows, or landscape challenge but not in this one.

Sorry about yesterdays comment, it was a bad day. At first I thought it was a still life, nice neutral non-distracting background with an obvious center of attention. However when I opened it was quite dissapointed to find people dancing. That being said I have been made aware of another definition of still life that has to do with movie pr shots, I suppose that this could also apply to stage pr shots and therefore will count this as a still life and re-rate it as such.

Sorry about yesterdays comment, it was a bad day. I tell you I would have liked it alot better if you would have put it on a neutral background, however not everyone has access to a studio. Lighting is fine, all the stuff around the bowl is distracting, and the candy could be arranged better to be more pleasing to the eye (ex. get rid of that bar code in the front left). I will conceed that it is a still life and will re-rate it as such.

Sorry about yesterdays comment, it was a bad day. I tell you, my initial impression was to dq it, but i saw that it had been validated. I feel that it is seveerly overworked. Composition is fine and couldn't tell you on exposure, it looks like digital art not photography. Other than that it is not a still life.

Sorry about yesterdays comment, bad day. Nice way the leaves and grass frame the image. I would like to see the duck closer, filling up more of the dead space in the middle. A little flat, I would level and saturate. All that being said life sitting still does not equall still life and this image is off topic. Should have entered it in an animal or fall type challenge.
