 This is 3:30pm Wednesday OCtober 28th, 2003.A Smoke Filled Sky. There is no movement in the air. All Street Lights and car lights are lit here in Burbank as Stevenson Ranch (Valencia) has just caught Fire

Sorry about yesterdays comment, it was a bad day. Not that what I said was necessarilly wrong, just very rude. It is still not a still life.

the lens flare (or whatever it is) in there looks bad
The contrast seems to be a little low, could be boosted
the object cut off to the bottom right is a distraction and doesn't need to be there
the plant would look better centered in the oval light

I"m betting this was taken in California near the fires. I hope all is well with yours during this difficult time. As for this shot, the size throws me off and the tree poking in on the right is very distracting. The effect of the border is also distracting. a 4

Interesting vignette effect. I think I would have liked the image better if the crop was tighter and the image was posted larger. I like the subject but the partial tree on the right is a little distracting.
