| Good composition but itt looks a littel blurred. Almost as if the camera you used is holding back the quality of the picture. |

| Sorry about yesterdays comment, bad day. Nice way the leaves and grass frame the image. I would like to see the duck closer, filling up more of the dead space in the middle. A little flat, I would level and saturate. All that being said life sitting still does not equall still life and this image is off topic. Should have entered it in an animal or fall type challenge. |

| I would guess that this is one of the images that people are complaining about as far as it is not a "still life". All of that aside, I like the way you framed the bird with the leaves, but the subject is so far away and out of focus. You are probably restricted by your equipment so I am assuming that you did what you could. Also if you move the subject out of the center and off to one side it will help make the composition more appealing. Just my feelings, and no I did not take off points for "not meeting the challenge." |

| A different idea for still life. The shot's DOF is a bit backwards to me, if there were more focus on the bird and less on the leaves this would work so much better. The light is dark and there isn't anything that really holds my attention in this. a 4 |
