Great composition. The dark person is contrasted from the scenic surroundings to make him the focal point. It is an interesting picture while still maintaining the challenge description. Good job. I'm just commenting on the few pictures I saw that aren't boring.

Wonderful idea with a good technique. It looks so good I'm almost hesitant to mention there could have been a wee bit more light on the stone itself. Something about the composition doesn't attract me. I will look back after the challenge to see if the model is wearing dark hose. If so, it was a brilliant idea. I'm going to have to remember this.

The softness is alright for this one. It does seem asthe focus is missing the mark but it adds a romantic feel to the picture. Would have been a higher score without the chin or more of the face. Either one would seem more purposeful to me.

Gosh, hope you can understand my post. Fine watch with a good supporting setting. I like the hand sweep. Nitpic, the fade off in the background seems, to me, to be to abrupt. That's the transition between gray and black.

So far this is one of the best. The composition, clarity, concept and lighting are good. The only thing I can see that bothers me is the cut off stone by the necklace. It seems like it should have been either in or out of the picture. Just as a fyi. When you work with sand, take a paintbrush to feather around where you worked.

It looks like all the stamens(?) are looking at the exotic beauty and that is fun. But the reflections on the gold are a distraction. I don't have a clue how you could avoid it other than raising the piece up a bit and closing down the lens.

With all those expensive looking diamonds hanging around, it seems to me a bit odd that the sunglasses are the featured item. Nary a diamond on them either. :) Nice picture otherwise.
