illuminous utensilby RoosterComment: I had to pass this by the first time because I couldn't see it. Now I do. My eyes wanted to make all the dark part into the background. Interesting. |

Bored At Work...by browntComment: Nice concept with good execution. Sorry, but the halo is just too much to be able to view this comfortably. Maybe try to reshoot it so it is as sharp as you want it to be or let her go a bit fuzzy. |

Marblesby rj324Comment: pretty colors, pretty picture. The selective focus keeps this from being boring by letting all the colors run together. Great color rendition. |

Just a phone...by StevePaxComment: The yellow is really vibrant and the other colors seem to be accurate. I think the composition would have been more effective if the whole handset had been shown. Seems to have a few bright spots. Maybe reducing your ev would help, if you have that ability with your camera. That data port is an interesting feature! |

Morning light - Bread and knife - Winter 2004.by jjbeguinComment: I'd feel a little worried to eat bread that was placed on something someone just had their behind on. Sorry. Very unattractive. If the picture had been taken from a closer pov, I probably wouldn't have known what it was actually on. |

"The Least Expensive Flower"by smellyfish1002Comment: The lighting and lack of color makes this common flower very uncommon and dramatic. It looks a little incomplete. That might be improved with just a tad of light on the right. |

Who needs stained glass?by dasserComment: I like the crop, color and framing, well, maybe the frame is a little too big. The only thing that is off is it looks like it's tilted to the right. The textures were captured really well. I almost did one for this challenge of a sunset coming thru my curtains and reflected off an antique mirror. It looked like stained glass. I'm glad I didn't submit it, yours is much better. |
