Excellent work with the tonality inj this image. I love the detail that is visible here. The composition seems uncomfortable with the darkness on the right side.

I really love the simplicity of this shot. The contrast is flawless and right on target which is often the problem with most B&W shots here. The only problem I have with this is the shot is heavy on the left side, and seems unbalenced to my eye.
Score: 8 Great job and good luck!

wow this is such a technically good shot. The only problem i see is that there seeems to be no mundane qualities to begin with.

Stunning tones to this b/w! Very interesting lines, and great visual clarity.

Better depth of field needed.

Beautiful shot, nice composition and interesting color and texture.

The lighting and lack of color makes this common flower very uncommon and dramatic. It looks a little incomplete. That might be improved with just a tad of light on the right.

This is a very elegant photo. It has wonderful tones and clarity. Quite beautiful!

I like this shot, but I have to think I would have scored this shot higher if it were not monochrome.

well......as many flowers as I have photographed I've never applied a black & white effect----now I wish I had! I really like this.....I know many people on this site complain about flower ( and cat) photos, so you have turned the tables and made a rather mundane subject different and exciting. Of course, I have never been one of those who shunned flower or cat photos....haha....I give this a 10 in my eyes!

Gorgeouls color and light, but the very middle is a little blown out... ortherwise it's an amlost perfect exposure
