Funny, I know I often put more into my title than the content deserves, but I can't help but wonder if a different title wouldn't have significantly altered the score on this one. Of course I never thought it would even break 5, it was meant to be abstract, but the due date was SUPERBOWL SUNDAY, and I wanted to contrast the hype that went along with that national holiday. Try to find an antonym for Hype. Isn't one really. So my title choices went from "Touchdown", do a simpler "T.D."(where I should have left it) to the current. TD might have given a push to those who didn't recognize the game immediately. Just glad it wasn't the brown (not that I think it is a disgrace, just I didn't think that this particular shot deserved one)

I think the lighting at the top of the frame takes away a bit from the focus, but I like the concept :)

I find the blur on the left distracting to the focal point of the composition, it is not apparent to me that the main subject is either slipping OR sliding, plus... What does this capture actually have to do with the challenge?

The reason I stopped melting the ice when I did was that the fissure you see on the top left was threatening to crack the whole composition. Many comments about taking the plastic off, though I don't see how that detracts from the photo.

What amused me though, and given, if this was a stand-alone exhibit in a gallery all comments would be spot on, was how many mentioned
the lack of visibility of the label. If you sat and scored in one sitting, did you not have it memorized? Was there really any ambiguity?
