IMHO the lighting is too harsh and blown as such the texture is lost.

Interesting mixture ~ soft and hard textures.

The picture overall looks like it could do with a little sharpening and possibly greater DOF to get full front to back in focus.

I like this lot - reflections well seen. IMHO the top needs cropping to keep the eye on the larger stones where the main strength lies in the image.

I must check back and see what camera you used, ceratinly looks like you used a polarising filter.
