I think this picture would have done better in color. It is a nice landscape with good composition, but as a black and white picture it is MUCH too gray. Obviously for a minimal editing challenge you couldn't change that in editing afterwards, which is why I think if it had remained in color this would have done better. 5

Wow, it is amazing what you can accomplish with Minimal Editing. This truly shows your skill as a photographer. I certainly couldn't produce something like this on camera. The image is perfectly in focus, with vibrant colors, and a title that relates well. It is very well done!
For some reason though, the composition seems awkward to me, though I can't place my finger on why. I think it might be because the empty glass rests on a "thirds" line while the full cup doesn't, which unbalances the composition away from the more interesting subject matter (the full cup). That's just speculation though. It just feels "off" to me.
That is a tiny nitpick of course. The pros of the picture far out weigh. I just thought I'd bring it up, since it is my experience the good photographs usually just get the positive feedback and no voices for improvement :-)

Oh, I hope this ribbons. Very clever idea, cute, and well photographed. I am amazed that this is minimal editing.
Most of the pictures in this challenge have titles that are quite a stretch. This is one of the very few where the title is the original concept. Awesome job 10!

I don't quite understand what is Overwhelming about this picture. But since this is also a minimal editing challenge (and my own entries title was quite a stretch) I am voting on image quality mainly. And this is a fantastic image for minimal editing! Very nice, with beautiful colors, good composition, white balance etc. 7

The only thing that bothers me about this photo is the severely tilted horizon.
Otherwise it is well lit, clean cut, and well photographed. A really nice photo.
