| Dream Lake in RMNP. The b&w works. Nice detail and DOF. Begs for postprocessing to bring up the shadows. This location always has a bright sky and lake/trees in shadows. For the minimal challenge, you could have used soft grad ND filters on the sky to constrain the dynamic range. |

| I think this picture would have done better in color. It is a nice landscape with good composition, but as a black and white picture it is MUCH too gray. Obviously for a minimal editing challenge you couldn't change that in editing afterwards, which is why I think if it had remained in color this would have done better. 5 |
