Between Snacking by TonyTComment: Congrats on the Bluey.
Just wondering, I have just brought into the world of macro with the Nikon 60mm 2.8D, was this shot taken with just that or extensions too?
Just want to know as I am new to macro and am fascinated by the whole thing.
This is an awesome image, Well done! |

Distant Sunby androgeusComment: Great idea, only thing is that the top half of the image does not blend well with the rest of it. I hope it does well!
I am not voting yet, just cruising through. |

bloodby supanovaComment: Thanks for the comment adigitalromance
I had originally entered this image for the challenge but then my new lightbox arrived in the post so I played around a bit and decided to go with the other one.
I thought that the angle of the knife would lose me vital scores and also it was shot on card that had been rolled up and the ripples from that showed in the image.
I did like this one, I liked the shadow of the knife and also as you say the position of woody looks more dramatic.
But, also as you say, I think that people might of thought it was a bit "iffy".
I am happy enough with the score from Woodys final moments , maybe this might have done better, I will never know! |
