Rainy Day in Brusselsby mnastComment: It seems you used a slow shutter speed to cause the motion blur on the subject leaving the frame. Nice pop of color with the umbrella. Perhaps you could have taken the subject a little more inside the edge of the frame and maybe zoomed in a little. |

Hot Potatoesby Bear_MusicComment: Nice use of the smoke or steam to create the sense this is coming into the frame. Very Creative and much different than the side entry technique! Bonus points for creativity here! |

Sarsaparilla Sassafrasby Eagle40Fox2Comment: This is a great image of the baby enjoying a frosty A&W Root Beer. I think the key to the challenge was to create a dynamic image which would involve movement. This image is more static. Also the subject seems to be centered in the frame and doesn't appear to be entering or leaving the frame. |

Hidden treasuresby FusainsdeparisComment: Shallow depth of field helps to highlight the flower. It also has very nice tonal range. It is not a flat image in other words. I feel a lot of B&W images seem to get converted as a last resort to salvage a photo. This does not appear to be the case here. The graininess may be due to high ISO value but it adds a neat film grain look to the image. Nice Job! |

A web of treasureby AnnabellaComment: Great Depth of Field. The background is very simple going from green to grey which helps to highlight the complexity of the web. That works to create that wow effect! There doesn't seem to be anything in focus, whether by design or not, I don't know. I find that to be a shortfall in this picture. I would like to see the spider in focus. |

water abstractby libertyComment: You should really play around with different backgrounds. This is a pretty cool effect. I am assuming it you shot through stirred water in a clear vessel of some kind. |

Dream Stateby ttreitComment: The overexposure works here to make something ordinary extraordinary. Nice job. |
