A fun exercise in painting with light for sure. Something about it's not quite there on the fine presentation level for me, and I'm sorry but can't really put a finger on it. Maybe it's the textured material that the book is on, or it could be the width of the light trails (they seem kind of wide). It's just not crisp and making me go "Wow". Nonetheless, I wish you good luck.

This is wonderfully balanced.. the blue tones also add to the atmosphere

Cool idea and you did a very nice job of make smooth lines. Soemtimes when one is trying to make lines perfect they do it slowly and it ends up shakey. This is not shakey looking at all. My only nitpicks are one the line at the bottom on the carpet or sand (I beleive it is carpet). Which brings me to my second nitpick. The carpet/whatever it is itself. I'm almost positive it's carpet at least but to someone voting fast they may just think it's noise and vote you down. next time a smoother surface would probably help.

a square crop to center the subject would have been better than having it off center. HOwever great subject and excellent painting with light photo.
