Beach Stabilityby arnitComment: Gorgeous! I love this. The shallow DOF is great, the narrow cropping, and the small size (plus the big border) all work together in this image. My attention comes right down to that one, smooth pebble on a timeless beach. Very littoral :) (I love that word). 10 from me. |

Serenityby lykofosComment: A little bit dull. The sky is overexposed (easy to do, I know), and the 3 areas of landscape, while being serene, yes, are featureless. I like the pebbles, but there isn't much to hold my interest. |

Blot on the Landscapeby paynekjComment: Very cool! Not many landscape photos in this challenge tell a story or make a point beyond aesthetic pleasantry. This one stands out, and is very nicely composed and well photographed also. 10 from me. |

The Bridgeby svitalComment: Very pretty. I like the camera angle on the bridge itself (it brings out the curves nicely), however the trees behind it make areas of the lattice work on the railings indistinct. Some other angles may have worked better? |

It has the feeling, though, that you used noise removal or some aggressive compression on it... maybe that's not the case, but some areas of shrubbery are kind of smudgy. I'm not going to mark down for that, because I could be wrong. |

I like the fact that this reduces it more to the level of textures and colours, because details become indistinct... but is that what you wanted? The border is very thick, but maybe in this case that works. |

It's too noiseyby PaulkComment: The light in the sky is really interesting. Very atmospheric and moody, with those silhouettes. The photo itself has a bit of noise (ironic?). Using Neatimage could sort it out. |
