Rhythm and bluesby JeanComment: Awesome! I love the colours in this one. Great abstract. The juxtaposition of the straight pencils and swirly shapes in the reflections is really cool. |

The death of anxietyby MelGrahmComment: Very intense and disturbing. I think I'd like this with higher contrast black and white, since it's so dramatic. I love the composition though. |

Hard No. 2by TomNTexasComment: Um... it's a nice photo, but that poor girl has really bad makeup. I don't know, these kinds of soft porn-esque photos don't really grab me (being a girl). Although, even if I was a lesbian I doubt I'd find her attractive. Just something about that look makes me shudder. It's so objectifying. Not that I'll give it a really low rating for that. |

pencil distortionby shutterflyComment: Very nice abstract. I think I would have liked some gentler lighting. Otherwise, the shapes and colours are gorgeous. |

New Messageby prkembyComment: Hmmm... this photo is actually kinda funky :). The colours jump out at me, and the background is cool. Nice idea, well executed. |

Sharpby mciComment: I love this photo, very colourful and high contrast, really emphasising the sharpness of the knife and the red colour of the "blood". It looks a lot more like tomato sauce/catsup, but a fun idea :) |

Third Riseby Ricky CleaveComment: Excellent photo! It could do with some post processing to make it more colourful, but that's just my personal opinion. The action is really cool, and nicely framed. |

Desperate Submissionby antonabayaComment: Hehe, I really like this photo! I know it doesn't really fit the challenge, but you obviously had a lot of fun with it. Nice work. |

6 Daysby amonteforteComment: This is absolutely beautiful. I don't generally respond to baby photos particularly well. I think that people who have children forget that those of us who don't might not feel the same way they do when we see a photo of their baby. But this photo shows me the emotions that exist between a mother and her baby, in a very direct, warm, genuine way. Putting their faces together and framing them so tightly gives a great sense of scale to the newborn, makes it seem tiny and vulnerable, and makes the mother's face seem protecting and loving. 10 from me! - lisae |
