Ha ha. Very funny. Interesting story and I like the subtle expressions that say so much about what is going on. I know maybe the guy may have seemed like a jerk, but I guess people have a right to ask not to have their picture taken. (I can see by the comments and by your photographer's comments that I 'm not going to be agreed with here!) But especially I know that in some cultures, having your picture taken is a bad thing as it is regarded as an unnatural capturing of the spirit. So, who knows?

I think the contrast idea is a good one, although I can see why you possibly haven't because of noise? Great moment though!

Serendipity, it's called! This is lovely, a little voyeuristic moment - I really love it. Also I think you've done a great job of getting the colour saturation just right- this can look a bit cheesy sometimes if done wrong but I think you've done it perfectly.

I like this, looks more like a piece of art than a photo - really unusaul. Lovely rich colour and I like how the detail is stripped out to make the markings look like abstract striated patterns.
