I gave this 6. I like it enough. Not for the theme of the challenge though. A view of a beach and still water at the horizon is not always calm. This is a man deep in his thoughts, eaten inside by his thoughts, protecting his self with an umbrella although we don't see much rain, doing his daily walk and being confronted with the same questions, here epitomized by the quite feisty bird waiting for him tirelessly .
You might not have seen it this way but your image had enough to make me develop a story.
You might have well titled: all is not calm
