Hi, as requested, here is an indepth critique of your submission.
First Impression - the most important one:
Wow, look at the pretty colors. Definitely that is my firs timpression.
Composition:
Composition isn't the strongest part of this photo, but it's acceptible. Putting a bit more black space to the right side of the photo would have made the "Burst of Color" more interesting.
Subject:
Subject is clear and well executed.
Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
All good! Colour is vibrant and well-saturated. Focus is sharp and shows great detail. Light is just right and well exposed.
To grow its vote?:
Somehow get some water droplets into play? LOL ... seriously, you made a wonderful caputre here. Perhaps a little more interest in the composition would have grown the vote a bit.
Summary:
Job well done! You definitely had a good run here.
