Just Me, Myself and Skyby ImagineerComment by cghubbell: This could be a Ben and Jerry's add. Hope you didn't get comments about not having vertical centering because I realyl enjoy this image. The cow seems a bit overexposed, but I don't think you could beat the composition. |

Where The Heart Isby ImagineerComment by redmoon: I have lived here all my life, and you know what, i don't think i ever saw the sky-line like this from this side of the river before - at least not docklands and the mill dome in the same view (i am SO used to seeing them the other side to each other that this view is entirely alien to me...) i've been to ally pally once, but twas hazy so I missed out on this great view. only guessing, but i think that must be shooters hill behind the dome (other side of which i used to live). this is a terrific first submission - i love how rich the greens came out. |

You've Got Mailby ImagineerComment by Imagineer: It's no contest Richard - they're alternative views of different elements of the subject. Yours uses a great technique to good effect!
Thanks anyway. |

Breakersby ImagineerComment by wewillexplore: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Hi Jon - nice to meet you!
You rocked the score, so what is there to say? Well, I would have liked to seen any shots you got of those other 25 that were with you standing a bit more to the right, kind of behind where the waves were breaking.
I think I would have also preferred a closer crop - forcing the sun and the crashing waves to be the only real things in the photo, making each more powerful.
The color and lighting here are what this image holds itself up by. They are superior and very cool. I would have liked to see this IRL.
Nice job here as always, happy hunting and good luck! |

Breakersby ImagineerComment by amyleigh: I was absolutely sure this would be in the top three -- first actually. What a stunning shot. |
