i know exactly wot you mean about losing quality when resizing for web .. i never noticed it as much as i do lately, but now after i'v put something in dpc i'll put it back in photoshop and over sharpen it either using smart sharpen or sometimes lucisart .. that way it might look nearly sharp in dpc .. its a buggar really ..
but this is brilliant .. its an excellent photograph and i love your processing .. it has a beautiful painted look .. :)

Even without editing, I think this has the potential to be a good shot. A boost in levels/contrast, or brightened a bit will really help. Then, a tighter crop on the left to force the eyes to anticipate what is coming in the frame from the right helps to build the action.

Looks like the meter under exposed this one. sometime i prefere to go to manual mode for a proper exposure so the meter doesnt screw up the shot
