Yeh, the title explains it all. gosh i hope people like it, im not at all satisfied by the quality, everytime i shrinky-dink it for the challenge the quality goes down the tubes(what tubes?). i have this funny feeling it will do well, which probably means it will go down in flames. sigh

update: i had this printed pretty big on nice expensive paper and its just fabulous, much better then it looks on screen:)

new update: what, is this photo on some eerie list where everyone comes and gives it favs? its freaking me out a bit, 4 favs in 2 days. who's stalking me?! lol

I like this one, maybe a little too much on the topaz?

Very nice work, Katherine. If this is your only HDR I think you need to do more, because you have quite the knack for it.

This has such a nice soft feathery look to it. Do you happen to have the original? I'd be interested to see what you had to work with and maybe include a few processing details.

Nice image, I like how it divides clearly into three distinct zones; the sky, the trees, and the foreground.

VERY nice work! I'm not sure why I didn't see this before. Straightaway to favs.....it took me two years to break 6 in a FS.

An exquisite piece of imagery, young lady! Bravo!

i know exactly wot you mean about losing quality when resizing for web .. i never noticed it as much as i do lately, but now after i'v put something in dpc i'll put it back in photoshop and over sharpen it either using smart sharpen or sometimes lucisart .. that way it might look nearly sharp in dpc .. its a buggar really ..
but this is brilliant .. its an excellent photograph and i love your processing .. it has a beautiful painted look .. :)

A bit over-tonemapped for me. LOvely colours though.

No vote from me, since I know whose this is. If I were voting on this however, I think I would give it a 6, maybe a 7. I like the colors, leading composition, and the appearance of the reflection. I think some may not care for the strong, obvious HDR look, and most of your low votes will probably be coming from that aspect of the shot. I expect this to do reasonably well, however. Glad you chose to enter this one.
