Swell Linesby slaaksoComment by kleski: lacks something....... I see the line but I think the blue on blue might have worked better with perhaps a surfer? do you have one of those in your camera bag??? good photo overall though |

Strange Rooster Crowing - Day 18by slaaksoComment by datcat: funny! chickens certainly don't come to mind when I think of the beach. You caught him at just the right moment! Yep a bit of lightening would work a treat on this. |

Wind.jpgby slaaksoComment by epescala: I think its really interesting! I would have cropped it too, and maybe fix the contrast and the color... The tree in the background is a little distracting.. |

Strange Rooster Crowing - Day 18by slaaksoComment by hajeka: And a strange, but nice photo it is. Just don't know how to place the background. Perhaps a little dark, some level adjustment would reveal so much nice details of the rooster |

Wind.jpgby slaaksoComment by EstimatedEyes: Yeah, I agree that a tighter crop might help keep the focus on your subject a little better (no pun intended, well, ok, maybe a little bit ;) I like to experiment with camera shake and motion blur too ... I find it really helps clear the cobwebs out and makes me see things in a different light. |

Wind.jpgby slaaksoComment by smilebig4me1x: this is actually a neat photo. I would think about cropping off the bottom 2-3" as it competes with your "dragon" (yep...i see it too) quite a bit. without reading your notes my first thought was that you had major camera shake when taking the shot. I also might pull down your mid levels just a bit. hope this helps...nice "artistic" shot IMHO
