Taken on a windy day at the Opaekaa falls overlook. Looks a bit like a dragon to me.

Camera shake is evident since it is a hand held shot at 1/6th of a second at 150mm. I love to play with the movement and see what shows up.

Interesting abstract the wind manages to create with the blowing leaves.

This is wild - like an apparition in the garden.

I think its really interesting! I would have cropped it too, and maybe fix the contrast and the color... The tree in the background is a little distracting..

Yeah, I agree that a tighter crop might help keep the focus on your subject a little better (no pun intended, well, ok, maybe a little bit ;) I like to experiment with camera shake and motion blur too ... I find it really helps clear the cobwebs out and makes me see things in a different light.

this is actually a neat photo. I would think about cropping off the bottom 2-3" as it competes with your "dragon" (yep...i see it too) quite a bit. without reading your notes my first thought was that you had major camera shake when taking the shot. I also might pull down your mid levels just a bit. hope this helps...nice "artistic" shot IMHO
