Hi Karmat!!!

ahem.. Okay..

Initial: cute idea.

Composition: Excellent. Use of Negative Space works in that the "kisses" tag leads my eye into the white space, and the white space pushes my eye back to the green wrapping.

Technical: I like the use of lighting... no harsh shadows, although I do wish I could better see the outline of the tag.. Sometimes wishes cannot come true - I realize this - but with the background so white, I wonder if any other lighting position would boost the less white outline of the tag. (does this make sense?). I even wonder if you could have 'cheated' by lighting touching the edge of the tag all the way around with a green or light blue marker. (Okay. I'll let it go.. now I sound obsessed).
The use of the slight shadow grounds the subject - so that it doesn't look like it is floating.

Overall good. Limited in keeping my interest, but cute.

This is cute, but daaaaaaaaaang if that isn't a whole lotta white! It feels sort of like the kiss is just pushed down in the corner. I think you basically already got a lot of good feedback. I don't agree that it needs more saturation. I think the lighting is a little too harsh for that reflective foil though. Did you try diffusing it? It also bugs me that the white tag blends into the background.
I was wondering if you couldn't do some sort of photo using more than one kiss that would really USE the negative space. Perhaps with a cute title. Sort of like a greeting card, with two kisses that want to kiss but there's a lot of space between them? I dunno ...

Composition : I have to agree with the other commenters that the tilt of the floor distracts. Also, finding a way to eliminate the "seam" of the wall and the floor would have helped tremendously.

Exposure/Lighting : The upper right hand background has more light than I think you intended. I got more caught up in the texture of the background then in the motion of the bulb.

Focus : I love the sharp focus on the threads in the bulbs starting place. Excellently done.

Post Processing : B/W was a excellent choice for this shot. It seems a bit grainy, but I like that aspect :)

Emotion/Challenge : You met the challenge and more :) Very interesting concept and extremely clever use of title. (Some folks say a title doesn't matter, I say some folks are wrong :) )

Opinion : This is a wonderful concept and I hope you revisit it, make a few small changes, and share the result :) I find a piece of fabric sometimes is the best background since it can be seamless... No tell-tale line where the floor ends and the wall begins. Just a thought :)

challenge met. beautiful contrast between the flowing water and the still and sharply focused rocks. nice contrast in tones, too. the water has a nice flow through the photo, and the frame works well, too. i wouldn't change a thing. my top 3 this week! :)

Probably the nicest running water photo in this challenge (although there may be more I haven't seen yet!). You hit exactly the right settings to get that water looking glassy and spectacular, with the rocks beautifully sharp and perfectly exposed. I think the border is a little bit too thick, but this is going to be a 10 from me.

Lose the bag, also try and get the subject to be looking into frame (put the file where the gag is). The position of subject against background stuff is good. Be aware that you have student names on the walll, there may be 'issues' with that sort of thing.
