How did I miss this, it's an instant favorite and the most creative image I've seen on this site. This would make such a wonderful illustration in a childrens book, there are so many stories that can be woven out of this. But to me it tells the tale of a gentle man in the Autumn of his life that is now facing life alone. He doesn't seem bitter or terribly lonely but is reflecting on the happy times he's shared with another in this beautiful place. I could while away hours in front of this image, thank you for sharing it with us.

I like this idea, though I do not like the lighting. Maybe some reflector (like A2 white paper :) ) or a light source on the left would've made that better, more symmetric. -6-
